We are expanding our NICU services in Aurora, CO and seeking experienced Neonatal Advanced Practice Practitioners who want to practice at the top of their license while also having opportunities to teach, mentor, and lead.
Position Highlights
NICU services spanning Level III and Level IV care, with exposure to a wide range of neonatal acuity
Flexible scheduling – benefits eligible at 20+ hours/week
Multiple FTE options available
Mix of 24-hour shifts (6:00am–6:00am) and 12-hour day/night shifts
Leadership, mentorship, and preceptor opportunities encouraged

What You’ll Do
As a Neonatal APP, you will serve as both a direct care provider and clinical leader, delivering comprehensive care to infants and toddlers up to age two.
Responsibilities include:
Managing acute, chronic, and critical neonatal conditions across Level III and Level IV settings
Performing histories, physicals, procedures, and daily clinical assessments
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies
Prescribing medications and coordinating specialty referrals
Participating in quality improvement initiatives, education, and team development
Mentoring and precepting APPs, residents, and students (optional but encouraged)
Scheduling & Coverage
Shifts include 24-hour coverage with optional 12-hour day or night shifts
Weekend, holiday, and call responsibilities required
Scheduling completed in 6-week blocks
0.9 FTE ≈
~3 twelve-hour shifts/week or
1–2 twenty-four-hour shifts/week
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay: $62.74 – $94.11/hour
(Annualized: $130,499 – $195,749, based on experience)

What We’re Looking For
Required:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (Master’s required)
Active RN & APRN license (NP) or PA license (PA)
Prescriptive Authority & Board Certification
NNP or PA-C with neonatal experience
BLS/CPR (AHA) and NRP required; PALS preferred
Minimum 3 years combined RN, NP, or PA neonatal experience
(High-risk neonatal experience strongly preferred)
