Position Summary
The Department of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist to join and grow our division. This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver state-of-the-art clinical care to children with allergic and immunologic conditions across our Medical Center’s platforms in the Saint Louis region and beyond.
The successful candidate will also contribute to research and educational programs, continuing the growth of an outstanding Allergy and Immunology division within our nationally recognized and expanding academic medical center.
Clinical Focus Areas
Our division provides comprehensive care for children with:
Asthma
Food Allergy
Allergic Rhinitis & Conjunctivitis
Atopic Dermatitis
Eosinophilic Esophagitis & other Eosinophilic GI Disorders
FPIES
Drug Allergy
Urticaria & Angioedema
Anaphylaxis
Mast Cell Disorders
Primary Immune Deficiencies / Inborn Errors of Immunity
Faculty are nationally recognized experts in asthma, food allergy, and immune deficiency disorders, actively shaping national and international guidelines for diagnosis and treatment.
Academic & Research Opportunities
Active involvement in AAAAI, ACAAI, and CIS with opportunities for leadership and presentations.
Teaching roles for medical students, residents, and fellows.
Participation in conferences and specialized electives.
Access to a long-established, ACGME-accredited Allergy & Immunology Fellowship Program (integrated Pediatric-Internal Medicine).
Opportunities for clinical, translational, and/or basic science research.
Special Programs & Centers
Immunodeficiency Center: Referral center for Jeffrey Modell Foundation (JMF) and Immunodeficiency Foundation (IDF).
Collaboration with Bone Marrow & Stem Cell Transplantation Team for SCID and other severe immunodeficiencies.
Referral center for Very Early Onset Inflammatory Bowel Disease (VEO IBD).

Requirements
M.D. or equivalent degree.
Board certified or eligible in Allergy & Immunology.
Eligible for Missouri medical licensure.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited 2- or 3-year A/I fellowship program.
Preference for experience in primary immunodeficiency care or food oral immunotherapy.
Academic rank and track commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Consideration for Division Director role may be discussed.
