Pediatric Gastroenterologist Opportunity - Full Time - Norwalk, CT
Boston Children’s Health Physicians (BCHP), affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital, and the Department of Pediatrics at New York Medical College (NYMC), is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at a location in Norwalk, CT with privileges at Norwalk Hospital. This will also include privileges at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital (MFCH), Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology has a dedicated team of eleven pediatric gastroenterologists providing comprehensive care for gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders. Two of our Division members are hepatologists. We are the major referral center for gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders in the lower Hudson Valley. Our relationship with many specialists allows us to treat a wide variety of disorders. This includes care for all the common GI disorders as well as a multidisciplinary approach to feeding disorders, intestinal rehabilitation, Aerodigestive disorders, and advanced liver disease with liver transplantation and pre- and posttransplant care. The Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital provides us with an opportunity to take care of complex patients and their associated gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders.
We are looking to add a member to our busy and thriving practice in Norwalk, CT. We have an excellent facility there and a large referral base. This individual will be fully incorporated into our division. We have three other physicians that see patients at Connecticut locations. Procedures will be performed at Norwalk Hospital, the Norwalk Surgery Center, and the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.
Services that our practice provides are endoscopy, therapeutic endoscopy, esophageal and anorectal manometry, MII-pH studies, Endo Flip, capsule endoscopy, and hydrogen breath testing.
We have a Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship program. Our providers participate in education and research with academic affiliation at NYMC.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
License in CT and NY
Demonstrated success in clinical care, education, and research
Passionate about advancing pediatric gastroenterology in a collaborative and innovative setting
