Join a Growing Neonatal Team in Southwest Washington.
Providence Centralia Hospital is seeking Neonatal nurse practitioners to join a newly developing neonatal service that provides essential newborn and neonatal support for families throughout Southwest Washington. The group is recruiting for 2.6 clinical FTEs and one 0.1 FTE APP Lead position, offering the opportunity to help shape and grow this important program from the ground up.
This role combines meaningful clinical practice, close collaboration with obstetric, pediatric, emergency medicine, and nursing teams, and the chance to make a lasting impact in a community-focused hospital setting.
Position Details:
- Full-time position
- 0.1 FTE APP Lead opportunity available for an experienced provider interested in leadership responsibilities
- Average schedule of 10,10-hour day shifts per month (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
- Approximately 10 overnight calls from home per month
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
- Opportunity to help build and develop a growing neonatal service
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Neonatal resuscitation and stabilization of infants requiring higher levels of care
- Attendance at high-risk deliveries and deliveries requested by Obstetric providers
- Daily multidisciplinary rounds and well newborn coverage in the Providence Centralia Hospital nursery
- Coordinating care for pediatric patients awaiting transfer to higher-acuity facilities
- Consultation and admission support for infants presenting through the Emergency Department
- Direct admission of newborns and infants from community pediatric practices
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation is between $142,420 and $191,003 per year
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
