Riley Children's Health is seeking highly motivated physicians to join the premier Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PMH) program in the state of Indiana. Riley Children’s PHM Division is a well-established group of 40+ Physicians with diverse backgrounds, cultures and training serving as the experts in patient care at the robust and busy quaternary care teaching hospital in Indianapolis, IN. We also offer a broad patient care experience across a variety of care models which includes IU Health community hospitals throughout the state located in Carmel, Avon, Fishers, and Bloomington.
Qualified candidates must have completed a Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship, or have sufficient experience to be board-eligible in PHM. *IU West, IU Fishers do not require PHM certification.

Roles and responsibilities
- Inpatient service in the Indianapolis Metro Region in Avon, IN at IU West Hospital.
- Attend high-risk deliveries on labor and delivery unit, rounding on normal newborns, and staffing Level II NICU that serves infants >32 weeks gestational age and >1500 grams at birth.
- Full time: 12-hour shift equivalents; may be split between days and nights, 141 shift equivalent per year. Holidays and weekends are evenly distributed among all faculty. Moonlighting opportunity at competitive rate
- Faculty appointment with Indiana University School of Medicine: participation in departmental educational endeavors, encouraged to participate in scholarly pursuits. Clinical track also available, ask for details
- Procedures include (but are not limited to): lumbar puncture, circumcision

Requirements
- Completion of ABMS pediatric residency
- PHM BC/BE required for Riley Children's Hospital; desired but not required for IU West or IU Fishers Hospitals
- Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure
