Phoenix Children's is recruiting a full-time Pediatric Neuroradiologist to join one of the country's largest and most complex freestanding pediatric health systems, with the option for a 100% pediatric neuroradiology practice, a flexible hybrid schedule, and real work-life balance.

Our Team
Phoenix Children's Department of Radiology consists of 29 radiologists: Neuro (8), Body (14), IR (4), and Emergency (3). Overnight image interpretation and consultations are covered by the Emergency Radiology section. All radiologists have full home PACS workstations, and a hybrid onsite/remote schedule is standard practice. Dedicated pediatric anesthesiologists provide anesthesia services as needed.
Subspecialty Practice
The Pediatric Neuroradiology division maintains a highly focused, 100% subspecialty practice encompassing the full spectrum of pediatric neuroimaging. Candidates with fellowship training in Neuroradiology or Pediatric Radiology with subspecialty expertise in Pediatric Neuroradiology — including current fellows — are encouraged to apply. Neuroradiology faculty hold additional academic appointments in the Department of Neuroradiology at Barrow Neurological Institute.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. (or equivalent), board-certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- ACGME Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, or Pediatric Radiology with subspecialty expertise in Pediatric Neuroradiology
- ABR Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Pediatric Radiology or Neuroradiology, or eligible
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona
Research and Education
Phoenix Children's Radiology faculty hold academic appointments with the University of Arizona College of Medicine (Phoenix), Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine (Scottsdale), and Creighton University School of Medicine (Phoenix). The department runs an active teaching and research program, including:
- 3 ACGME-accredited Pediatric Radiology fellow positions
- Dedicated advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Neuroradiology and Pediatric Interventional Radiology
- Residents, fellows, and medical students from affiliated academic programs
- A full-time PhD Imaging Scientist supporting an active clinical and translational research program

A new pediatric hospital — featuring 60 NICU beds, 6 operating rooms, and a 24-room Emergency Department — opens in February 2027.
