Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon | Illinois | Academic Practice
Join a community based academic health system in Illinois as a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon. This role has a strong trauma focus, established referral volume, and opportunities to develop subspecialty interests while working with residents and medical students.
Position Highlights
- General Pediatric Orthopedics with a trauma focus
- 3-6 surgeries per week across trauma and elective cases
- Immediate patient volume with opportunity to grow your practice
- Collaborative environment with mentorship and leadership support available
- Two clinic and two OR days per week
Academic Environment
- Teaching opportunities with an Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program
- Daily interaction with medical students and residents
- Research opportunities with dedicated support staff and infrastructure

Compensation & Benefits
- $400,000+ base salary with academic component, based on experience

Candidate Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Orthopedics
