Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician to join the Hackensack University Medical Group (HUMG) team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, high-quality primary care to patients ranging from newborns to 21 years of age. We are looking for a forward-thinking physician who is passionate about holistic care—including mental health and social determinants of health—and who is excited to help us innovate patient access and care delivery.
Opportunity Information
- Comprehensive Care: Diagnose, treat, and provide primary care, including immunizations and diagnostic testing, for infants, children, and young adults.
- Holistic Approach: Address the complete well-being of our patients, focusing on mental health and social determinants of health.
- Innovate & Lead: Help identify barriers to patient access and implement novel models of care (e.g., expanded hours, new care locations).
- Educate & Mentor: Shape the future of medicine by participating in the education of medical students and residents.
- Collaborate: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, supervise practice staff, and serve on HackensackUMC committees.
- Community Outreach: Participate in public health education, health screenings, and community outreach program

Qualifications
- Education: M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Certification: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
- Licensure: Active Medical License in the State of New Jersey.
- Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with patients, families, and professional personnel.

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $197,263.
